How it works

  1. Choose an image

A logo or drawing with clear contrast. Dark parts are raised by default; you can raise the light parts instead.

  2. Set the size and shape

Choose the width, plate thickness and raised height, a plate shape, a rim and a keychain hole near the top edge.

  3. Download and print

Save an STL or 3MF and print it flat, plate down. It needs no supports.

Questions and answers

Which images work best?

Clear, high-contrast artwork: a dark logo, signature or line drawing on a plain light background (or the other way round). PNG files keep edges sharp. Photos work better in the photo relief tool.

What does the threshold do?

Every point darker than the threshold is raised (or lighter, if you choose to raise light parts). If thin lines break up, move it up; if blobs join together, move it down. The small picture under the view shows exactly which parts will be raised.

How thin can lines be?

As a rule of thumb, keep lines and gaps at least about 0.8 mm wide at the final size for a standard 0.4 mm nozzle. Thinner details may print badly or not at all. Making the model wider makes every line wider.

Can I print it in two colours?

Yes, without a multi-colour printer: in your slicer, add a filament change at the top of the plate (the plate thickness you set, 2 mm by default). Everything above that height, the raised logo and the rim, prints in the second colour.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device.
